ECT cord for isolating your testing column in snow and ice layers. This cord provides strong cutting power for your Extended Column (ECT) & Propagation Saw (PST) Tests . Made from bright 2mm nylon cord, with a combination of alloy crimps and knots carefully positioned to protect your probes during sawing. Knots alone will struggle to cut through the NZ snowpack. Handles make for comfortable pulling using 2-4 gloved fingers. Fits easily into your snow study kit pocket. Rutschblock test length cords are sold separately.
